The 23rd edition of MITM Americas closes with an exquisite white attire dinner in the gardens of the Hotel Nacional, outstanding area that has been setting up the rhythm of MICE tourism since 1930, moreover in this special occasion, celebrating Havana´s 500 year anniversary.
The event congregated: 187 participants from 27 countries. International buyers from corporative companies (19%), incentive agencies (27%), meeting planners (25%), international associations (10%), specialized TTOO (19%). All of them, executives with decision-making power that make each edition of MITM Americas surpass itself.
After two intense days of business appointments, completed with an exceptional networking program, 4,137 appointments have were carried out with an estimated impact in the medium and long-term of more than 250 million dollars.
Cuba´s Tourism Ministry, after analyzing the great international impact from the last edition, has relied for the fourth time in the pioneer and most influent MICE event y the Americas and the Caribbean; betting on MITM Americas as a main pillar in the development plan of the MICE sector in Cuba. Concurring with the 5th centenary of the city of Havana, the Ministry of Tourism has prepared a powerful tourism development plan that, after the overwhelming success of the last edition, has had the celebration of the 23rd edition of MITM Americas as main character to continue developing and strengthening tourism meetings, congresses and conventions in Cuba.
To finalize this edition, the exhibitors participated in the MICE training sessions composed of three modules: "Specialization in the Meetings and Events Tourism (MICE) segment", by Raúl García; "How to creatively project our meetings", by Pablo Weil; and "Accessible events", by Betina Anzilutti.
