Inaugurated since 2012, Chengdu International Tourism Expo (CITE) is the leading tourism exhibition in Chengdu for professionals in the tourism industry to promote their latest travel packages, destinations, products and services. It will be held at Century City New International Convention & Exhibition Centre, from 28 November - 30 November 2019.
In 2017, the 5th edition of CITE series attracted 400 exhibitors from 30 countries and regions, over a gross area of 10,000sqm. The three-day event also saw 400 local and international hosted buyers, 6000 trade visitors and 10,000 public visitors.

The ASEAN Tourism Forum (ATF) is a cooperative regional effort to promote the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) as one tourist destination. This annual event involves all the tourism industry sectors of the 10 member states of ASEAN: Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Lao PDR, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Viet Nam.
Each year, the hosting of ATF is rotated among the member countries. ATF was established in 1981. 2019 marks the 38thanniversary of the event.
